Bailiwick Chicago will conclude its 2014-15 season with the Chicago premiere of the intense off-Broadway rock musical MURDER BALLAD, conceived by and with book and lyrics by Julia Jordan, music and lyrics by Juliana Nash, directed and choreographed by James Beaudry with musical direction by Nicholas Davio. MURDER BALLAD will play April 2 - May 9, 2015 at the Flat Iron Arts Building, 1579 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago.

The Theatre School at DePaul University will offer two world premiere productions, in each of the school's new theatres, to conclude the 2013-14 season.

The Theatre School at DePaul University will present THE CORAL KING, by James Ambrose Brown and directed by Ann Wakefield, as the closing production of the 2012-2013 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences Series. This production opens Tuesday, April 2, and runs through Saturday, May 25, 2013, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM and Saturdays at 2 PM. There will be no performances on April 6, 9, 11, 13 or May 4, 7, 9, 11.

NewYorkRep, Marvell Rep and La Vie Productions present staged readings of Stalking the Bogeyman (written by Markus Potter, based on the original story by David Holthouse) on Tuesday, March 12th in New York City. The industry-only staged readings are open by invitation only.

Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Producing Director Richard M. Parison, Jr., has announced casting for its summer productions of Carousel and A Streetcar Named Desire, as part of the theater's 15th Anniversary Season.
