Second Stage Theatre will kick off this summer's Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series with the world premiere of Carly Mensch's 'Len, Asleep in Vinyl.'

Following a critically acclaimed season which included the New York Premiere of Edward Albee's Peter and Jerry and the musical Next to Normal starring Alice Ripley and Brian d'Arcy James, Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) has announced three of the four plays scheduled for its upcoming 30th Anniversary Season.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard,Executive Director) has announced the two plays to be presented as part of the company's sixth Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: Carly Mensch's Len, Asleep in Vinyl, directed by Jackson Gay, and Rajiv Joseph's Animals Out of Paper, directed by Giovanna Sardelli.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) has announced that Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's new play, GOOD BOYS AND TRUE, will begin preview performances on Wednesday, April 23 at Second Stage Theatre (307 West 43rd Street, just west of Eighth Avenue).

Todd Haimes, Artistic Director of the Roundabout Theatre Company, is pleased to announce that Harold Wolpert will be joining the company as the new Managing Director on July 5th, 2005.

The third of the new Fall season of the American Theatre Wing 'Working In The Theatre' Seminars continues on Thursday, November 4th. This season, on a new set and in a new larger facility, the popular 'Working in the Theatre' Seminars have been expanded. The American Theatre Wing continues to provide a unique, enlightening, behind-the-scenes theatrical experience with these star-studded panels comprised of Broadway and Off-Broadway's major theatre personalities. Once again the ATW Seminars will provide some of the most entertaining and informative discussions on theatre today.

Todd Haimes, Artistic Director of the Roundabout Theatre Company, has announced that Ellen Richard, Roundabout's Managing Director, has chosen to leave the company in June 2005 after 21 years with the organization.
