Beatrice and Benedick's merry war of wit and wordplay is fought on the Festival stage with the comedy Much Ado About Nothing. The production, directed by Christopher Newton, starts previews tonight at the Festival Theatre.

The Museum of Modern Art has commissioned artist and choreographer Ralph Lemon to create a three-week program of dance performances by contemporary choreographers, entitled SOME SWEET DAY, to be presented in the Museum's Donald B. and Catherine C. Marron Atrium from October 15 to November 4, 2012.

Dance Conversations 2012 will run through March 25 showcasing a series of films and works-in-progress by 36 emerging and established choreographers, dance companies, and filmmakers. Toronto's Luminato Festival held the perfect post-Tony Awards bash this past Monday with its outdoor concert in David Pecaut Square entitled 'Broadway's Night Out.' Hosted by Toronto's Broadway Babies Sharron Matthews and Shawn Hitchins, the show featured cast members from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's production of Jesus Christ Superstar, The Shaw Festival's My Fair Lady, Meow Meow and Lance Horne.
