Harbourfront Centre presents the world premiere of two deeply personal and expressive new works from Kaeja d'Dance: 31 (TouchX + I am the Child of), on stage November 11–13, 2022 at 7:30pm at Harbourfront Centre Theatre, as part of the international contemporary dance series, Torque.

PEGGY BAKER PROJECTS, in its final stage production, will present BEAUTIFUL RENEGADES, a brand new play written by Michael Ross Albert and directed by Eda Holmes. The show will run September 20 - October 2, 2022 at The Theatre Centre.

This year's festival will include our signature 'Map It Yourself' self-guided tour that allows festival goers to explore Hudson on foot, via walkable public art installations and festival venues, once again designed by venue safety architect and designer Anna Savino.

Co-created and performed by Toronto-based dance artist David Norsworthy and NYC-based dance artist Marielis Garcia, Possibilities of Dialogue is an exchange of energy and awareness through contemporary dance and a collaborative creative process with audience members. As part of North York Arts' Evolve! program, and co-presented by TOES FOR DANCE and DanceWorks (as part of their CoWorks Series), the performance will take place on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th at 8:00pm with a matinee on Sunday, April 7th at 2:00pm.

Toronto-based TOES FOR DANCE (TFD) and choreographer, producer, and Co-Artistic Director of TFD, Kristen Carcone, present an immersive dance performance, 4-7-8, from November 30 to December 2, 2018. Taking place in the compelling setting of the Small Arms Inspection Building, 4-7-8 explores the complexities and social stigma surrounding anxiety while creating a space for conversation between performers and audience members about mental health. Good news: we are finally seeing same sex couples in dance. A rarity is now becoming something of a mainstream occurrence as we move into a new realm of sexuality actually being presented on stage. For gay men, and I include myself, we have waited a long time to see this, free from any kind of misrepresentation that smacks of hypocrisy, insensitivity or comic put-downs. We can now examine ourselves in the art of Terpsichore -not only on small stages, but in the repertory of New York City Ballet, the company where women were on pedestals and men their adoring cavaliers.
