princess productions has announced the dance: made in canada / fait au canada (d:mic/fac) Festival 2023 programming, exploring exceptional works in Canadian dance artistry across genres, styles and generations. Providing a diversified platform for experimentation and unique artistic visions, d:mic/fac Festival 2023 will present a series of live performances, films and art that transcend the ordinary, from August 16 to 20, 2023 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre.

Living legend and 2019 Dance Hall of Fame inductee Louise Lecavalier will open this year's festival with a special artist talk and screening of the recent documentary Louise Lecavalier - In Motion. Additionally, 13 artists and companies will be presented across three Mainstage programs - curated by Matjash Mrozewski, Lina Cruz, and Festival Director Yvonne Ng - coupled with a lottery-based platform titled 'What You See Is What you Get' (WYSIWYG). An ancillary Arts Encounters program explores the photography, media arts, and other creative expressions created by five dance artists.

FEARnyc, New York City's most terrifying horror film festival, has announced the lineup for the 2017 festival. Sponsored by Bloody Disgusting and Dread Central, FEARnyc will be held October 27-29, 2017 at The Producer's Club Sonnet Theater in Times Square.

The Chicago cast of Altar Boyz celebrated their 100th performance at Drury Lane Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut St.) on Thursday, January 3, 2008. Altar Boyz is now playing in Chicago through March 2, 2008.
