The Edangered Species (theatre) Project presents a fully staged reading of Diana of Dobson's by Cicely Hamilton. A Romantic Comedy of the 'Upstairs/Downstairs turned Upside-Down' variety. Playwright Cicely Hamilton was often compared to George Bernard Shaw and penned the lyrics to The Women's March. The production will play at the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church on 8 West 2nd Street, in downtown Frederick, MD on October 14 at 4 p.m. and October 16 at 7 p.m.

Continuing on its mission to recognize and promote plays by women, Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company (MU) is teaming up with Classical Theatre Company to produce a staged reading of Cicely Hamilton's DIANA OF DOBSON'S at Chelsea Market Theater on November 5, 2018. Written in the early twentieth century, the play was largely ignored both for its unashamed confrontation of class conflict and the fact that it was penned by a woman.
