Fire Island Dance Festival, one of the most talked-about summer events on Fire Island, will return to dazzle, excite and captivate audiences on July 15-17, 2016.

"Night Of A Thousand Judys"  a special presentation of The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for a signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between was presented at Merkin Hall last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

Erin Markey, Josh Sharp, April Kidwell, Michael Cyril Creighton and Phillip Taratula will join the cast of the sixth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre. The event will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan) on Monday, June 6.

Barrett Foa and Marissa Mulder will join Annie Golden, Lillias White, Alice Ripley, Nathan Lee Graham, Vivian Reed, Lady Rizo,Gay Marshall, Carol Lipnik, Rob Maitner, Gabrielle Stravelli, T. Oliver Reid and Nadia Quinn & Ahna O'Reilly with the Playbillies to headline the sixth annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre.

The inimitable Carol Channing was feted in style on Saturday night as the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California presented Carol Channing's 95th Birthday! In Celebration of a Broadway Legend. The star-studded performance was produced and directed by Chad Hilligus, with music direction and orchestrations by Steven Baker and choreography by Charlie Williams. BroadwayWorld is excited to report that some of Broadway's biggest stars are coming out to celebrate international stage and screen superstar Carol Channing, who turns 95 this year, in a one-night-only tribute concert produced by the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California tonight, March 5, at 8 p.m.

'Nureyev's Eyes' will be on the George Street Playhouse stage through February 21st. This fascinating new play is written by David Rush, directed by Michael Mastro and start Will Connell as Jamie Wyeth and Bill Dawes as Rudolf Nureyev. See this inventive piece of theatre, wonderfully staged and performed.

George Street Playhouse presents David Rush's NUREYEV'S EYES, which runs now through February 21 at the New Brunswick theatre. Bill Dawes portrays Russian defector and star of ballet and screen, Rudolf Nureyev; William Connell plays painter Jamie Wyeth, the son of famed artist Andrew Wyeth and grandson of illustrator N.C. Wyeth. The production is helmed by George Street Playhouse Resident Artistic Director Michael Mastro.
