Dance/NYC has announced digital sessions for this year's 2020 Symposium. Sessions will take place via facebook live and zoom and include an array of artists and business experts addressing the needs of dance workers and organizations in this unprecedented moment for our community.

Let's Dance International Frontiers - LDIF19 - launches on April 29th - International Dance Day - and focuses on diversity in dance by showcasing new work from emerging local talent and internationally acclaimed performers and companies. LDIF19's theme is Black Dance: A Contemporary Voice, which will be the focal point of discussion at the conference on April 30th.

Breaking the Glass Ceiling: A Celebration of Women in Choreography will showcase original work by three diverse female choreographers as part of the Marie Rader Presenting Series at Rowan University on Thursday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in Pfleeger Concert Hall.

The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage today announced 53 grants in support of the Philadelphia region's cultural organizations and artists. The 2017 awards total more than $10.3 million and provide funding for 12 new Pew Fellowships, 39 Project grants, and two Advancement grants.

Conceived by Danspace Project Executive Director and Chief Curator Judy Hussie-Taylor as exhibitions that unfold over time, Platforms are multi-week series of performances and events, organized by guest curators, that act as deep inquiries into artistic practice and concerns. Ten Platforms have been held to date, each accompanied by a print catalogue.
