Theatre L'Acadie will present its 4th theatrical season with Elizabeth Egloff's psycho-sexual fever dream, The Swan, directed by TL Co-Artistic Director Erin Sheets, running from July 12, 2024 at Facility Theatre.

Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT), Western Michigan's premier summer theatre, has begun rehearsals for their highly anticipated 2018 season! The company was established at Hope College in 1972 and is entering their 47th Season with newly named New York City Theatre Artist Lenny Banovez, as the company's new Artistic Director.

The Mingus Dynasty Septet plays often at the Jazz Standard in New York City, one of the top jazz clubs in the country. La Jolla's Athenaeum Library brought them to San Diego for two performances that included a tribute to Charles Mingus's Tijuana Moods album, originally recorded in 1957 and finally released in 1962. The septet, appropriately enough, played first in Tijuana. The following night I was at the TSRI Auditorium near the UCSD campus to see a repeat performance of the all-Mingus program.

Production began this week on the documentary I AM GARY JOHNSON. The feature-length film is a comprehensive look at the 2016 Presidential Campaign of two-term Governors Gary Johnson and Bill Weld, the Libertarian movement, and the political ambiguity felt by millions across the United States.
