Evidence, A Dance Company paid tribute to the life and legacy of Beth Young, a dance enthusiast and long-time supporter of Evidence, A Dance Company, and recognized Goldman, Sachs & Co. and, Valentino D. Carlotti for supporting the arts and community outreach at The Torch Ball on March 25 at New York City's The Plaza Hotel. Proceeds from the black tie affair support Evidence's mission to promote understanding of the African Diaspora through dance, music and storytelling. Scroll below for photos from the event!

Recent transplant from Charlotte, NC, BareBones Theatre Group marks its Chicago debut with 'Orange Flower Water' on Saturday, May 11 at Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark Street. BareBones Theatre Group is presenting this as a co-production with Interrobang Theatre Project, and will merge together for the 2013-14 season. Founder and Artistic Director of BareBones Theatre Group and co-Artistic Director of Interrobang Theatre Project James Yost directs 'Orange Flower Water' running Thursday through Saturdays and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m. until June 9. This coming-of-age comedy focuses on Eugene Jerome (Evan Thompson, Mamaroneck NY), a Jewish teen growing up in 1937 Brooklyn, as he experiences puberty, sexual awakening and a search for identity as he deals with his family.

'Kidding on the Square' was originally recorded during a sold out run, which received raves from audiences and critics.
