The New Victory Theater, New York City's premier theater for kids and families, announces the 2013-14 artists-in-residence for New Victory LabWorks, a groundbreaking initiative designed to spur the development of original high-quality productions for young audiences.

Sundance Institute today announced the acting company, artists-in-residence and creative advisors for the seven projects being developed at its 2013 Theatre Lab, July 8-28 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Lab is the centerpiece of the Theatre Program's year-round work and is designed to support both emerging and established artists and to create a place where their original work can be effectively mentored and challenged free from commercial pressure.

Due to popular demand, McCarter Theatre has announced one additional performance of its smash-hit production of Into the Woods as reimagined by Fiasco Theater Company. Thanks to sold-out houses, great reviews, and nightly standing ovations, McCarter had previously announced it had extended the run through the matinee performance on Sunday, June 9. But fans will get one more chance! This innovative new production of the Stephen Sondheim/James Lapine musical-theater classic must close after the added evening performance on Sunday, June 9 at 7:30pm.

INTO THE WOODS, with Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and Book by James Lapine, will be directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld at McCarter Theatre Center. The show opens tonight, May 10, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
