Akram Khan Company will present the world premiere of Akram Khan’s new work, Jungle Book reimagined – a deeply personal interpretation based on the original story of Rudyard Kipling’s much-loved family classic – at Leicester’s Curve Theatre, 2 - 9 April 2022. A UK and international tour will follow, taking in cities including Birmingham and Edinburgh.

Jacob’s Pillow has announced Belgian and Moroccan choreographer, dancer, and director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as the recipient of the 2022 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award. Cherkaoui will accept this award and present a new work at the season-opening Gala on June 18. 

Love Your Local Theatre 2-for-1 Ticket Campaign Extends Into April

Love Your Local Theatre, a campaign run by leading theatre membership body UK Theatre and made possible by the support of The National Lottery, has announced it is extending until 30 April. Over 100,000 tickets have already been sold through the promotion, made possible by £1m of National Lottery subsidy. Due to huge demand, an additional 50,000 2-for-1 tickets have been made available for April performances - with thousands of tickets still available for March at theatres UK-wide.

BalletBoyz has announced their return to live performance with the London Premiere of Deluxe. Fusing beautiful dance with original music in the company’s unique and unmistakable style, Deluxe will embark on a nationwide UK tour from March to May, including London’s Sadler’s Wells between 24 and 27 March.
