The Barrow Group Theatre Company (Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, Co-Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director), recipient of a Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award, launches their 2017-2018 season with the New York premiere of Muswell Hill, a play by Torben Betts, in a co-production with The Pond Theatre Company. Directed by Shannon Patterson, the six-member cast features Jason Alan Carvell (War Horse), as Mat, Colleen Clinton (Proof) as Jess, Lily Dorment (Abigail's Party) as Karen, Richard Hollis (The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time) as Simon, John Pirkis ( Blue Bloods ) as Tony, and Sarah Street (Abigail's Party) as Annie.

Midnight at The Never Get, the award-winning and critically-acclaimed musical hit of last summer's New York Musical Festival, is enjoying its New England premiere this summer in a co-production by Visceral Entertainment (Michael Chase Gosselin and Tim Sulka) and Dustin Sparks Productions. Due to strong advance sales, Cherry Lane Theatre will add three performances to Jocelyn Bioh's NOLLYWOOD DREAMS, the final presentation of its Obie award-winning MENTOR PROJECT.

Following critically acclaimed, sold-out runs at Don't Tell Mama and the 2016 New York Musical Festival (NYMF), Midnight at The Never Get, conceived by and starring Sam Bolen and Mark Sonnenblick, with book, music and lyrics by Mr. Sonnenblick, directed by Max Friedman (Ruby Manger Live!, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band), and produced by Michael Chase Gosselin (POPE! An Epic Musical, The Most Miserable Christmas Tree), will return home to Don't Tell Mama (342 West 46th Street) on Tuesday, March 14 at 8pm for a special one-night-only concert to celebrate receiving a 2017 Bistro Award for 'Book Musical,' and a 2017 MAC Award nomination for 'Show Of The Year.'

Cherry Lane Theatre has announced casting for the second production of the Obie award-winning MENTOR PROJECT 2017 now in its 19th season. Nathan Yungerberg's ESAI'S TABLE, will be presented at Cherry Lane (38 Commerce St.) from March 22 - April 1, 2017, it has been announced by Seri Lawrence and Janio Marrero, MENTOR PROJECT's Producing Artistic Directors. Angelina Fiordellisi is Cherry Lane's Founding Artistic Director.
