The rags to riches story of one of the world’s most charismatic and controversial political figures receives a new look, in an exciting, intimate production at Bucks County Playhouse, September 23 – October 30.

Doug Schwarz and David Peck spent a year rehearsing Gutenberg! The Musical! for its debut at the Community Players Studio in July 2015. They had no idea what kind of reception to expect.  Though Schwarz was a Players veteran, Peck was a newbie with virtually no theater experience.

Zoetic Stage and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present the exciting conclusion of the 2021-2022 Theater Up Close season – the Florida premiere of OUR DEAR DEAD DRUG LORD, a dark comedy by Colombian-American Miami playwright Alexis Scheer about a gang of viciously vulnerable teens who try to resurrect the spirit of Pablo Escobar.

The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC), a new multi-disciplinary performing arts center located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, presents My Big Gay Italian Wedding April 29th through May 8th, 2021.

From Storytelling for Seniors to Interview skills to Shakespeare technique, these stand alone classes are ideal for adults seeking to broaden skills and develop new ones in the safety of their own homes. Participants will be able to livestream the class with Orlando Shakes professionals via webcam.

Producers Harriet Newman Leve, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner have announced a 2020 Broadway bound production of Last Summer at Bluefish Cove.

Havana Music Hall, a new Broadway-bound musical, will hold industry presentations on November 14 and November 15, 2019 in New York City. The invitation-only presentation will feature an electrifying live Cuban band.

freeFall Theatre Company announces that Carbonell award-winning actor & director Chris Crawford is joining the staff as Associate Artistic Director. Chris will work closely with Founding Artistic Director Eric Davis as freeFall moves to the next level after having celebrated a Decade of Daring as one of Tampa Bay's most exciting regional theatre companies.

As part of its popular Summer Jazz Series, the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County will be presenting a concert next month by Broadway and cabaret star Avery Sommers. The series is presented in collaboration with the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding, created by Anthony J. Wilkinson, is celebrating its 16-year anniversary with a special pride week of seven performances at the brand-new Avenel Performing Arts Center. Wilkinson is currently the Executive and Artistic Director of the venue in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. 

The Village Playwrights meet the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Studio 353, 353 W. 48th St., NYC in Studio 4.  Everyone is welcome. $5 suggested donation.

John Fisher brings you World War II from the Allied invasion of Normandy to the Fall of Berlin. He also provides useful information about the best books on the subject, the cutest generals, and the hottest actors who played them in the movies. Once Upon a Rhyme: A Musical Tale (formerly iLLA! A Hip Hop Musical), with book, music, and lyrics by Ronve O'Daniel and music, orchestrations, and arrangements by Jevares C. Myrick will be presented as part of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's 2018 New Works Festival.
