Winner of five Tony Awards, including best revival! ASSASSINS is a groundbreaking musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. This fictional portrayal of the men and women who attempted (successfully or not) to assassinate Presidents of the United States explores why the issues that drove these people to commit horrific crimes still affect Americans today. The music varies to reflect the popular music of the eras depicted.
