Uncle Function, one of New York City's premier sketch comedy troupes, will introduce a series of brand new LOVE sketches at their upcoming special edition comedy show Uncle Function Falls In Love at The Peoples Improv Theater - 123 East 24th St., Manhattan. After a successful monthly run of shows last year, the Uncles are back on Thursday February 21st, 2019 at 8:00PM!The Uncles will also be joined by very funny special guests: Carmen Lagala (The Late Show with Colbert) and Kristen Buckels (Between Two Bushes, Prod. It was formed in 2015 with the help of Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island, Kinky Boots). Uncle Function is written by and features Chris Cafero (Chicago Fire/NBC, The Other Two/Comedy Central), Russell Daniels (UCB Maude Night, That Bachelorette Show/Off-Broadway), Jessica Frey (The Characters/Netflix), Douglas Goodhart (Douglas and The Goodharts/Lead Singer), and Gianmarco Soresi (Deception/ABC). Since their inception, Uncle Function has appeared on ABC, The New York Times, BroadwayWorld.com, HuffPost, FunnyOrDie.com, and more. They have performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB), Davenport Theatre, Broadway Comedy Club, The Tank Theater, Ensemble Studio Theatre and now they can be seen every month at The PIT.
