Title: Old Pros Show is Raising Money and Awareness for Sex Worker Rights!
On Wednesday, November 30th at 9:30pm - Old Pros, a non profit media organization working to change the status of sex workers in society, is putting on a show! Expect an unforgettable evening with stand up comics and burlesque performers!
Old Pros content creator and stand up comic, Irene Merrow will be hosting the event.
Audiences will hear from Ceyenne Doroshow who is an incredible storyteller, sex worker rights advocate, and Founder and Executive Director of GLITS. Enjoy a performance from Old Pros Founder and Executive Director (and stand up comic) Kaytlin Bailey. Closing out the first half of the show will be Kate Willet, the author of Audible Original “Dirtbag Anthropology,” co-host of the political comedy podcast Reply Guys. You may recognize her from her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
After a short break audiences will be charmed and enthralled with performances from the illustrious and tantalizing Bri Joy and funny and flirty, Vague Static. Both burlesque performers are from the Haus of Quench, a well known drag collective in Brooklyn. Closing out the night will be Mehran Khaghani, one of the most popular, irreverent, and delightful LGBTQ+ comics working today.
Please hang out after the show to meet the team and to learn more about the work Old Pros is doing to change the story about sex work.
