A Scottish generalMacbethreceives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will becomeKing of Scotland. Spurred to action by his wife and the promise of power, he murders King Duncan and takes the throne for himself. Consumed by guilt and paranoia, Macbeth spirals downward on a journey of murder and violence that leaves few unharmed. As the tyrannical ruler rises we see the ripple effects throughout the land. The bloodshed and civil war that follow take Macbeth and Lady Macbeth into the deepest realms of madness.
Andre Ozim is back on stage this winter at HB Playwrights Theatre, playing Eddie, the 21yr old romantic partner to Sue Belle in the Broadway revival set in the 1950's 'My Sister, My Sister'. Directed by Obie Award Winning Actor Arthur W. French Jr., starring Malinda Logan as Sue Belle.
