Cast and Creative team for Down The Road at Access Theater
Tara Amber was born and raised in NYC. She studied classical piano at The Special Music School, and vocal performance at LaGuardia HS. She received her BA in theatre from Smith College, and continued her studies at the Maggie Flanigan Studio (where she met many of the fine folks involved in this production). Recently she composed the musical number for the play The Hollower, which premiered here at the Access Theater. She has performed both on stage and screen, and is currently developing a new series, Better Than Us. Her favorite role she’s played to date is the Pirate King from The Pirates of Penzance.
Kirk Koczanowski is a Meisner-Trained Theatre & Film actor based in New York City. Recent credits include: “Murder Play With Jack & Melissa” & “Guardian” written by Matthew McLachlan and “Shonda & Katherine" by Sunita Deshpande. Film/TV: “Seat” (Film is Animals Productions), “Mr. Survival Man” (NYU), “Dream Man” (TUTV), and “Fascinati. Kirk is a frequent collaborator on many new works, plays, and a weekly exploration on movement through the Williamson Technique alongside fellow Alumni from The Maggie Flanigan Studio. Philip is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan studio. He was last seen on stage in Face Divided by Edward Allan Baker, and Strange Animals & Plastic Figures by Kory Alexander Majansky.
