All families have a truth they don't want to talk about, "said Director Stein Winge. That is perhaps why he believes that Henrik Ibsen's the wild duck is the best play. How much truth can withstand an average human being? What happens to a child when living the lie will be swept away?

Henrik Ibsen wrote the wild duck in 1884, and since it's become one of his most performed plays. When asked if he intends to play it the way it was meant from Ibsen's side, "Stein Winge: do we really know how Ibsen wanted it? We need to work on Henrik Ibsen from the time we
live in. "if not, we would have failed the author.
