The award-winning and innovative musical "The last five years" has gone around the world since the world premiere in 2001. Composer, text and script writer Jason Robert Brown based the script on his failed first marriage. His ex-wife has threatened to sue him for how she has been made, after which Brown has made some changes to the script. The dramaturgical genius line is that the two hovedrollenes stories are told in reverse chronological order-he from the start and she from the end. They are only at the same time and place of the wedding. Changes will allow the otherwise traditional boy meets girl story gets the other depths and opinions in scenes such as; the first meeting, cohabitation, career choice, marriage and separation. The music is written in a pop-rock-soul-folk-acoustic style. It extends from the driving rhythms and sensitive ballads to the humorous pace filled the numbers. With two formidable singers such as Heidi Gjermundsen Broch and Heine Totland, along with a sparkling Orchestra under Atle Halstensens savvy management is the stage set for a musical evening in the top League. The editing room is at one of our most experienced musical directors: Johan Osuldsen. He has in recent years made shows like "Mamma Mia", "We will rock you," "Showgirls" and "Company".
