Sissel Kyrkjebø can look back on more than 25 wonderful years as an international artist. It all started in 1986 with the Sissel sang at halftime during the Eurovision Song Contest in the Grieg Hall in Bergen, Norway.
Anyone who followed the program break element that recalls the absolute highlight. A glorious and liberating natural artist with a stunning voice captured everyone's hearts. That same year, her first album – Sissel-released, she was voted "employee's name" by the INTERNATIONAL HERALD TRIBUNE and received the award as "Fiddler of the year". 20 years later, in 2006, Sissel received the Spellemann Award of honor of the year award ".
Sissel is best known for singing the Olympic hymn at the Olympics in Lillehammer in 1994, for the Christmas concert with Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, as well as for having participated in the "soundtrack" for the film Titanic. The music of this film has been sold in over thirty million copies. And who could forget Sissels klokkeklare vote for rapper Warren G's "Prince Igor"?
