This fall's success will continue into 2013 bump! After the premiere on NAT Queen umusikalske TENS september 2011 cheered both the audience and the press! Now comes the notion also to Drammens Theatre! On stage stands two of Norway's leading komedieskuespillere-Hege Schoyen and Jan Martin Johnsen. Experience the story of overklassekvinnen who loved opera, but that certainly won't be able to sing, despite the fact that she thought just that. a true comedy that offers brilliant acting, warmth and humor!
The performance of the NIGHT by umusikalske QUEEN operasangerinnen is the story of Florence Foster Jenkins (Hege Schoyen). Or rather: she was known professionally only in his own head. The truth is that she had weak developed ear and rhythmic sense, and was barely able to keep a tone. Foster Jenkins started to give concerts in small closed company, but ended up being a cult phenomenon that eventually made for a sold out concert at Carnegie Hall.
Into Foster Jenkins comes to life pianist Cosme McMoon (Jan Martin Johnsen). He is a talented musician who in a desperate need for money meets the talentløse "singer" and ends up as her regular pianist.
