Astroshowet presents the fascinating phenomena in outer space and provide a look into the future with a cosmic space lifts, large space stations, bases on other planets, the terraforming of Mars and travels to distant exoplanets.
The universe is experienced with amazing images, movies, animations and sound effects from the last over the exploration. There are life forms on distant exoplanets? Is there intelligent life? In that case, we will achieve the contact? Space probes and telescopes both on the ground and in space have revolutionised our relationship to space. The spectacular explorations and the latest discoveries will have a bearing on the future of humanity and our view of ourselves! Sannes and Ødegaard takes the audience on a journey through time and space, experiencing the gigantic distances, visits strange planets around distant stars, beautiful gas nebulae, colliding galaxies, hungry superslurpere and strange phenomena. They follow the space probes on Mars, in orbit around Saturn and on the way to Pluto. There will also be performances from the last years amazing meteorite fall in Norway as well as the well known foreign case.
The audience will have the opportunity to see Norway's 3. largest meteorite that fell over London in 2012, as well as the stone which almost hit a man in the head in the Moss in 2006. Grefsenmeteoritten weighs a total of 4.65 pounds and is the biggest found in Norway for over 100 years. The largest part of the Grefsenmeteoritten has been on display at the want to know in Bergen, Norway in half a year. But now it will be possible for the public around the country to get to experience this historic meteorite at close range! All who have stones they believe to be aliens, are encouraged to include these. Sannes and Ødegaard will examine the stones both before and after the show. Sannes and Ødegaard tells about upcoming sky events that we can enjoy ourselves to.
