Theatre Palisades presents Frederick Knott’s thriller about Susy Hendrix a recently blinded housewife who unwittingly possesses a doll filled with drugs. Three con men try to con Susy into giving up the doll. A battle of deadly wits ensues as Susy launches a counter plot against the dangerous thieves. The Drama plays on the theme of darkness and light as Susy navigates through her sightless world

Mike: 35-50 Natural empathy and compassionate. Can be ruthless at times. Small time drifter with charm and good-natured style
Carlino: 40-55 Coarse, uneducated. Isn't bothered by much. Fairly good con man but never the brains behind the scheme.
Roat: 30-50 A true sociopath. Has no empathy for anyone. Has sadistic streak a mile wide.
Sam: 35-40, Susie’s Husband. Intelligent but not intellectual. Photographer by profession. Loves Susy very much.
Susy: 27-28 Vivacious young woman who was blinded in a car accident. Strong willed, highly intuitive.
Gloria: 11-12 Bright child but in that awkward age. Good heart. Can be petty and given to tantrums. Susie’s upstairs neighbor.
