Show Synopsis:
The longing, isolation, desire and fear of the classic Jacobean tragedy The Changeling are transported to the American South in this haunting tale. At the center of the story is Laura, whose need to leave her small, rural home and controlling husband is ignited when she falls in love with a man who offers her escape and a future. But in this place where history and its ghosts populate the landscape, Laura's hunger for a new beginning sets off a violent chain of events that leads her not out of town, but to a profound (and terrifying) understanding of her true nature.
Rehearsal Dates:
August - September. Rehearsals will be 2-3 days per week, depending on the availability of those cast.

October 6-9, October 13-16

Audition Requirements:
Please submit us a 1-2 minute monologue. Preferably memorized, contemporary and from a previously published work of film, theatre, tv or literature. We're looking for relaxed, conversational, and personable so keep that in mind when creating your pieces!
Please include a headshot and submit a resume, if you have one. If not, fill us in on your background with performing and why you might be interested in getting involved with Pizza Chapel Theatre Company. Don't forget to let us know if you have any bizarre or unique special skills!
