AUDITION DETAILS

To select a time slot for TTIP auditions, go to http://www.theatreinthepark.org/audition-form-intro and complete the online registration form. Once the form has been completed, audition numbers will automatically be assigned.

Those with an assigned audition time slot should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled time, check in at the registration table and have their photo taken; the entire audition process should be completed in about 2 hours. Time blocks from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 19 are reserved for youth auditions ages 7-13.

Walk-in auditions will still be permitted on Saturday, March 26 only, with registration beginning at 3 p.m. All those auditioning must complete the online registration process and bring 11 copies of the completed form with them to auditions.

All those auditioning should prepare no more than 16 measures of a song of their choice (please do not sing a song from one of TTIP’s 2016 shows). An accompanist will be provided but bring sheet music in the proper key.

TTIP Producing Artistic Director Tim Bair said there is another change to this year’s audition process.

“We are also NOT requiring the dance audition as we have in the past. Auditionees will be able to choose whether or not to participate in the dance segment of the audition. I’m hopeful that this will attract a good number of people who are not comfortable dancing, and are really just interested in singing roles in one of our shows,” Bair said.

Those unable to attend the auditions in person may submit a video audition up until 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016.

Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. TTIP cast lists will be posted on line after midnight on Wednesday, April 6.
