The First Thanksgiving
By J.C. Svec. Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts, 1621, Comedy, 2 Males, 1 Female.
Myles Standish is ordered by Governor Bradford to invite the local tribes to a day of Thanksgiving. He hates the idea, think hatchet in the back of skull, but does as told with the help of his secretary, Elizabeth. Problems and personalities from the start make this a jaded glimpse into how it might have been to bring about...The First Thanksgiving.
Myles Standish, 20-40's. Bit skeptical. Not the brightest bulb. Think Oliver Hardy mixed with/George Costanza.
Elizabeth, 20-40's. Myles' secretary. Bright, confident, friendly. Smarter than her boss.
Governor Bradford, 40's + serious, weight of world on shoulders. Thinking of his place in history.

Directed by: Robert Klein
