Young Company Director West Hyler returns for his second year following his triumphant production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. West’s Broadway credits include How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Jersey Boys, which he subsequently staged in venues across five continents. His most recent New York directing credit is Metamorphosis, with the Big Apple Circus. Additional credits include Actors Theater of Louisville, The Guthrie Theater, and The Old Globe in San Diego.

The Professional Company is comprised of professional actors, artists, directors, designers, and technicians who join with the Young Company and community members to create live performances in the University of Notre Dame’s beautiful DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Professional artists have worked on Broadway, for Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf, and the Goodman, as well as American Players Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, and Shakespeare festivals across the country.

Professional Company Director Drew Frascher has directed and staged fights for over two hundred and fifty professional productions at regional theatres throughout the U.S. He has served as a Fight Master/Master Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors. His direction credits include the Cincinnati Shakespeare Co., Florida Stage, Cleveland Playhouse on the Square, the Alabama and Kentucky Shakespeare Festivals, Georgia Shakespeare, and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
