SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre Announces Auditions for “The Scarlet Pimpernel” April 23-24
(Orem, Utah) – SCERA announces auditions for “The Scarlet Pimpernel,” which will play August 2-17 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem and will travel to BYU Education Week for performances August 20-23.
“The Scarlet Pimpernel” will be directed by Jerry Elison, with music direction by Martha Glissmeyer and choreography by Penny Colvin.
Auditions for ages 16 and older will be Tuesday, April 23 or Wednesday, April 24 from 7-9pm. All roles are available. Auditions will be held in Room 101 of the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. All auditioners should prepare to sing 16 bars of a Broadway-style show song of their choice. No appointment is necessary. An accompanist or IPOD playback is available. Dance/movement auditions will be held for those invited to callbacks.
