The Rose To Host Auditions For The Entirity of
Its 2013-14 Season On April 28 and April 29
The Rose Theater will host an audition for all adult roles in its 2013-14 productions on
Sunday, April 28 at 4 pm and Monday, April 29 at 6 pm. Adult actors of all types are
welcome to audition and must come to The Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam Street. Please
come prepared to perform a monologue and move. Singers should be ready to
perform at least 16 bars of a song. Cold readings from scripts may also be used.
Actors are being given an opportunity to skip future open calls for each show in the
2013-14 season if they audition on April 28 or April 29. The Rose will callback actors
based on availability and appropriateness for specific productions. Most productions
involve daytime rehearsals and performances, but at least two do not. Four shows in
the 2013-14 season will have evening rehearsals to maximize actor availability.
Preliminary rehearsal schedules for all productions will be available at the season
auditions. This is a paid position for adult actors. Minority actors are highly
encouraged to audition. Roles are available for actors of all ages and genders.
