AUDITION NOTICE
The Rose Theater will host an audition for adult roles in its 2014 production,
“The Grocer’s Goblin and The Little Mermaid” at 10AM on Thursday, October
10th. Adult actors of all types are welcome to audition and must come to The
Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam Street.
Please come prepared to perform a short
monologue. Cold readings from the script will also be used. Please bring any
musical instruments played.
Actors must be available for weekday rehearsals between January 6-January
31, 2014 and weekday/weekend performances between January 31- February
16, 2014. This is a paid position for adult actors. Minority actors are highly
encouraged to audition.

About The Grocer’s Goblin and The Little Mermaid
Utilizing a unique mix of shadow puppetry, digital media and live action The
Grocer’s Goblin and The Little Mermaid inventively tells two Hans Christian
Andersen fairy tales. These intertwined stories of loving, longing, and
growing up will invite audiences to experience a rare and unique visual
delight and The Rose’s spectacular storytelling at its very best.
