TERROR, NYC’s Largest Haunted House returns to Times Square this September!

Now accepting submissions for Haunted House and Street Performers to perform as Scareactors and Puppeteers for Terror Haunted House!

Interested candidates must provide availability for all rehearsal dates September 4-6th, 2023, and all Terror Haunted House performance dates:

Previews 9/7-9/10.

Opening Night: 9/13.

Performances:

September 14,15,16,17,20,21,22,23,24,27,28,29,30

October: 1,4,5,6,7,8,11,12,13,14,15,18,19,20,21,22,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31

November: 3,4,5

Scareactors & Puppeteers

All sizes and looks are needed. Candidates must be comfortable working in dim or theatrical lighting, fog effects, and in large crowds. Previous experience is not required.

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work within the United States.

Compensation

Scareactors and Puppeteers earn $20 per hour.

Audition Information

Audition Dates: June 24th, July 7th, July 8th: 10:30AM- 5:30PM.

The audition process is estimated to take between 15 minutes.

Auditions are scheduled on a ‘First Come, First Served’ basis. Please sign up early.

You will be taught a frightening character vocal and physical combination, come prepared to scare! We want to see your most deranged, terrifying and ghoulish portrayal. Looking for actors with strong improv skills. Be scary and most importantly have fun!

Please wear athletic clothes you can move in, this role is mildly physically engaging.

Actors of all sizes, genders, abilities and mobility levels are encouraged to attend, especially minority or underrepresented performers.
