Sea World is now casting the following roles-
HOLIDAY STROLLING CHARACTERS AND SHOW HOSTS:
Please prepare a one minute family-friendly comedic monologue. Be prepared to perform character improv and read from a provided script.
Santa’s Cottage Characters - Casting engaging, friendly, and funny Christmas characters to delight and interact with guests. Characters are Mrs. Claus, a pair of elves, Clara (from the Nutcracker), The Nutcracker Prince, Jack in the Box, and the Peppermint Princess.
Male Host - Casting energetic and charismatic hosts with strong stage presence. Must be able to play the ages of 25-35. Good improvisational skills are preferred.
HOLIDAY VOCALISTS/HOSTS:
Casting both male and female performers for the family-friendly Shamu’s Christmas Show. Audition material will consist of a monologue and musical selection, both to be provided before the audition date.
Requirements:
*Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
*Previous experience in the field of dance, theater, athletics or other performance arts required.
*Headshot and resume required.
*Must prepare monologue and musical selection to be performed at audition. (Both to be provided before audition date.)
Schedule:
*Rehearsals start in October.
*Must be available to perform all of the following dates: November 15th-17th, 23rd & 24th, 30th
December 1st, 7th & 8th, 14th & 15th
*Must have at least four days of unrestricted availability per week to include both Saturdays and Sundays from December 21st to January 4th.
Pay Rate:
$18/hour - Rehearsals
$25/hour - Performances
