ABOUT THE SHOW

Set in Italy 1863, Giorgio, an Italian captain, is transferred from Milan at the height of a passionate love affair with a married woman - Clara. While stationed at a provincial military outpost, Giorgio struggles to connect with other soldiers, but begins to build a friendship with the Colonel’s sickly, tormented niece, Fosca. As time passes, Giorgio finds himself torn between the unavailable and uncommitted Clara and the obsessive Fosca, an emotional battle that has dangerous consequences and teaches him the true meaning of love. Based on the novel Fosca by Igino Ugo Tarchetti & the 1981 Ettore Socla Film Passione d’Amore.
