Marriott Theatre will hold an open dance call for non-union dancers/movers/singers on Thursday, March 14th, and Friday, March 15th at the Rehearsal Warehouse(1342 Barclay Blvd, Buffalo Grove, 60089) for their upcoming production of Something Rotten.
Male-identifying dancers / singers will be seen at 9am on March 14th, and male-identifying movers / singers at 1pm on the 14th.
Female-identifying dancers will be see at 1pm on March 15th (no movement call for women). Dates and more show info at MarriottTheatre.com.
Looking for dancers with a variety of musical theater dance skills. Be prepared to do a short Ballet/Jazz and Tap combination for all calls. Bring appropriate ballet/jazz and tap shoes. No sneakers. Tumbling skills a plus. Seeking locally based dancers/singers/movers only at this time (must have housing in the Chicagoland area).
All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition. No performers under 18 are being seen at this time. Bring one 16 bar song (equivalent to one minute in length) and a second contrasting selection in case the artistic team needs to hear more. Please bring music in your key and an updated H/R.
