The Rose To Host Youth Auditions For Shrek on August 8, 2016.
The Rose Theater will host an audition for all youth roles in its 2016-2017 production of Shrek by appointment beginning at 4PM on Monday, August 8 with callbacks on Tuesday, August 9 at 7PM.
Youth actors of all types ages 8-18 are welcome to audition and must come to The Rose Theater West Studio, 12100 West Center Road, Ste. 505, Omaha, NE 68134. Performers should be ready to perform at least 16 bars of a song. An accompanist will be provided. A short dance audition will also be conducted.
Shrek will have evening and weekend rehearsals September 6-29 and daytime/weekend performances September 29-October 16, 2016. Double casting will likely be utilized to minimize impact on school schedules for youth actors.
