Synopsis: Jane Austin's beloved Regency Romance takes the stage in Jon Jory's whimsical, ensemble driven adaptation. The Bennet sisters (or at least the two eldest) are charming, lovely, clever, and completely without marriage prospects. Then a new man comes to Hertfordshire with his arrogant friend in tow and Jane and Elizabeth find their quiet lives quite upended. All the charms of the original are captured in this adaptation; including their mother's hysterics, their younger sister's infatuations, lavish balls, charming officers, and a parson who lacks each and every social grace. This production will use choreographed movement and shadow play to help propel the story through its many locations, from the drawing room at Longbourn to the lavish grounds of Pemberley.
