Harper Ensemble Theatre Company announces OPEN AUDITIONS for PIPPIN Book by Roger O. Hirson with Music & Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Directed by Laura Pulio Colbert with musical/orchestral direction by Ellen K. Morris and choreography by Kara Williams Posmer on September 4th & 6th.
Description: Performance dates November 11-20, 2016. Rehearsals begin early September. You do NOT need to be a Harper College student to audition and all roles are open. Seeking actors age 18-70 (with one role for a 10-14 year old boy). There is no pay.
Audition Information: To schedule an audition appointment contact Laura Pulio Colbert at lpulio@harpercollege.edu and indicate preference for Sunday, 9/4 or Tuesday, 9/6 from 7-10pm. Auditions will take place on the Harper College campus at 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine IL , Parking Lot #2 in the Liberal Arts Center Drama Lab (L109). Please prepare 32 bars from musical theatre selection of choice and bring sheet music. Accompanist provided. Headshot and resume at audition are appreciated but not required. There will be a callback on Wednesday, September 7th at 7PM (by invitation).
