WHAT:
MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS, a complete re-imagination of the male revue based on the hit movies “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike XXL,” is on a nationwide hunt to uncover the most talented men in America and the creative team’s next stop is its future home: Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS casting team will search for male dancers who are sexy, athletic and handsome, with a deep appreciation and respect for women. In addition to being strong hip-hop dancers, all must be comfortable stripping to briefs and interacting with members of the audience. However, keeping with its aim to redefine what “male entertainment” can be, the casting team will also look for more mature men ages 40 – 60 who are in great shape and can move well, as well as strong dancers with special skills including playing the guitar.
On Thursday, Dec. 8, the casting team will also host auditions for the show’s female emcee, a woman who is funny and dirty, with an outspoken feminist personality. Candidates should be able to run away with this idea, leading the audience through an adventure that leaves them feeling sexy and empowered.
