SCERA to hold auditions for “Hello, Dolly” on February 28 and March 1
SCERA announces auditions for its spring indoor production of the musical classic “Hello, Dolly,” directed by Jerry Elison, with music direction by Martha Glissmeyer and choreography by Penny Colvin. “Hello, Dollly” will play April 19 – May 11, 2013 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays@ 7:30pm in Showhouse II at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.
Auditions will be held Thursday, February 28 or Friday, March 1 from 7-9pm. All roles are available. No appointment is necessary to audition. Auditioners ages 16 and older should prepare to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre song. Male dancers are especially needed, and those interested in a dance role may be asked to participate in a short dance audition. We will provide an accompanist, CD player or IPOD playback.
