Callbacks will be scheduled as needed.
Please prepare 32 bars from or in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to read from the script if asked. Please bring a headshot and a résumé. AEA Guest Artist contracts for some roles. All ethnicities considered and encouraged to audition. All appointments will be scheduled via e-mail. Please contact the Company Manager via e-mail for appointments. If you are unable to attend auditions, video submissions are strongly encouraged (with a headshot, résumé, and video link/s) to companymanager@riversidedt.com.

Ghost Description
Ghost - A timeless fantasy about the power of love. Molly is in grave danger when a mugging while walking back to their apartment one-night leaves Sam dying in the street. Unable to leave Molly in need, Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next. With the help of a questionable storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam tries to communicate with Molly and protect her from harm. A modern musical production with book and lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin; music by Dave Stewart (of the band the Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill). Based on the hit 1990 romantic drama film of the same name starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze.

(LEAD) In love with his long-term girlfriend, Molly; Murdered suddenly. Must come to terms with his death and find his killer. Strong actor and vocalist. Should move well and have experience in stage combat. Guitar skills a plus.

Molly Jensen
(LEAD) An artist living in New York City with her boyfriend, Sam, until he's murdered. Must help Sam avenge his death. Strong actor and vocalist with a wide range.

Oda Mae Brown (CAST)
(LEAD) Spiritual advisor with a questionable background. Larger-than-life character, great comedic timing, and a big heart.

Carl Bruner
(LEAD) Sam’s best friend. Has hidden unsavory motives. Strong actor with a wide range. Stage combat experience a plus.

Aggressive ghost who eventually aids Sam in learning about his powers in the afterlife. Extremely physical role that must be able to embody a large imposing force. Stage combat and physicality/movement experience preferred; experience with rap is helpful.
