Gulfshore Playhouse to Hold Local Equity Auditions for 2014-2015 Season
Gulfshore Playhouse will hold their Local Actor’s Equity Association auditions on Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with a lunch break from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the Norris Center in Naples.
Gulfshore Playhouse’s 2014-2015 season will consist of 6 diverse productions, running from October 2014 to April 2015. The Mountaintop by Katori Hall will begin rehearsal on September 12, 2014, open on October 4 and close on October 19,2014. Body Awareness by Annie Baker will begin rehearsal on October 10, 2014, open on November 1 and close on November 16, 2014. Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol by Tom Mula will begin rehearsal November 18, 2014, open on December 6 and close on December 21, 2014. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang will begin rehearsal on December 29, 2014, open on January 15 and close on February 8, 2015. The Butcher by Gwydion Suilebhan will begin rehearsal on February 6, 2015, open onFebruary 28 and close on March 22, 2015. The Liar by David Ives will begin rehearsal onMarch 13, 2015, open on April 4 and close on April 26, 2015.
Actors interested in auditions should come to the Norris Center, at 755 8th Avenue S in Naples, prepared with two contrasting monologues to perform. A full breakdown of roles can be found on Gulfshore Playhouse’s website, and sides will be provided at the auditions. All who wish to audition will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
