Title: Forward to the Past
Synopsis:
Forward To the Past is a fast-paced play off of Back to The Future. With a time traveling Delorean, sassy and southern veteran Angel, Sassy Cassie, and Nate, her bumbling angel side kick, take to the cosmic timelines of the past to teach 39 year old Charlene a lesson. Charlene met Angel Sassy Cassie when she was young; so when Charlene decides that she is fed up with all the trials she has to endure on Earth, she calls Sassy Cassie to take her “home”. Not understanding that humans can’t “decide” such a thing, Cassie, along with Nate and her back up angel pop group, the Celestial Seven, come down to Earth to show Charlene the error of her ways. Knowing Charlene needs to heal from her past to move one with her future, we ride the cosmic wave with Charlene, Nate, and Cassie to Charlene’s 2nd grade class in the 80’s, middle school dance in the 90’s, and college days in the early 00’s, as she discovers the lies she believed that have effected her entire life. Come along with STAND on our original Pop Musical Journey to discover, like Charlene, that we all have believed lies in our past that we need to bring to Jesus to be healed and move toward a future of freedom.

Calling all performers in grades 5th & up to audition for this Spring’s Original Musical Production by Jessie Beebe, Forward To The Past!
Auditions will be on January 22nd, 2024, at the Stand Performing Arts Studio from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM. Please be prepared to do a cold read, and bring a prepared 30-45 sec of a song to audition with.
Rehearsals will be on Mondays from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM beginning on January 29th, 2024.
Tech Rehearsals: 5/13/24 - 5/14/24
Shows: 5/16/24 - 5/17/24
Monthly Tuition: $130, Show Fee: $65

Charlene - 39 year old single lady who is cynical to the core! (Actor - High school - 40 yrs old)
Sassy Cassie - Charlene’s Angel who is as southern and sassy as Dolly Parton (Actor - High school and up)
Nate - Sassy Cassie’s bumbling sidekick. Nate is new to coming to earth and is all about following the rules. A bit of a nerd. (Actor - Middle School and Up)
The Celestial Seven aka C7 (Sassy Cassie’s back up angel pop group that helps the trio ascend to Charlene’s past decades), (Actors Age 5th and Up):
Sari - short for Seraphim - Country Angel
Cherry - short for Cherubim - New Jersey Angel with Sass
Gabby - short for Gabriel - Sweet and Humble Angel
Mikey - short for Michael - Tough and Harsh Angel
