SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre auditions for "Fiddler on the Roof" June 14-15
SCERA is holding auditions for "Fiddler on the Roof" on Thursday June 14 and Friday June 15 from 7-9pm at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. The show will be directed by Jerry Elison, with music direction by Martha Glissmeyer and choreography by Penny Colvin. Auditioners age 16 and older should come prepared to sing 16 measures of a Broadway song. CD or IPOD playback will be available. No appointment is necessary to audition. The role of Tevye is pre-cast and will be played by Neal Barth. All other roles are available. A simple dance/movement audition will be held for those invited to callbacks on Saturday, June 16.
"Fiddler on the Roof" performances will be August 3-18 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 8:00pm at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre. For more information, call SCERA at (801) 225-ARTS.
