SUMMARY

The Munchausen Group seeks male and female actors for its upcoming production 'DRACULA FOR DUMMIES' at Cotuit Center For The Arts, BLACK BOX Theater. The world premiere will be staged on October 3rd - 27th, 2013 and directed by Tristan DiVincenzo.

'DRACULA FOR DUMMIES' is a non-stop multi-sensory comedic mash-up of Bram Stoker's classic and every blood sucking rip-off thereafter.

Four ingenious actors collide on the tiniest stage imaginable to perform this visually stunning tour de force paranormal misadventure.

This new experimental production from The Munchausen Group combines burlesque theater, circus arts, vaudeville comedy, and cutting edge video technology to create an evening of entertainment unlike anything...anywhere!

DRACULA FOR DUMMIES boasts a hilarious score from producer Gerald Goode, death defying costumes from Lynne Buckson Co, sets and props by Standard Toy Craft and multimedia projections by he Genius Darwin Gilmore.

PRODUCTION DATES

Opening the 3rd of October through the 27th of October, with shows that will run Thurs. though Sun. (Subject to a two weeks extension)

TENTATIVE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

The rehearsal period will begin the last week of August. Rehearsals will be evenings from Mon - Fri. Due to the complex nature of the project actors must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

CASTING DETAILS

Auditions will take place from Monday August 19th and Tues the 20th between 6pm and 9pm in the Black Box Theater at Cotuit Center for the Arts.

Actors will be required to prepare a two minute comedy monologue of your choice (Modern or Classic) and also might be asked to read.
