OPEN AUDITIONS FOR DEAR EDWINA JR!
Have a child interested in performing? Join us for our open auditions for Dear Edwina JR. at Dover Little Theatre (DLT). Auditions will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 5pm to 7pm and on Saturday, September 24th from 11am to 1pm. Auditions are for ages 8 to 14.
Dear Edwina JR. is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical. Written in a “show-within-a-show” format, Dear Edwina JR. is the perfect “girl power” musical for a new generation.
Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant songs.
‘Dear Edwina Junior’ is a great coming of age musical for kids of all ages. This experience will be filled with music, dancing, acting, and most importantly fun!
Performances of Dear Edwina JR. will be held on December 2nd through 18th with Friday and Saturday evening performances and Sunday matinees
The Audition:
We ask that anyone who is auditioning prepare one minute of a song of their choosing. Scenes will be handed out to read at the auditions.
