"Damn Yankees" Auditions in West Valley
West Valley City, UT – West Valley City will hold auditions for Damn Yankees on April 25-26 from 7:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center located at 1355 West 3100 South in West Valley City. All roles are open, with lead speaking roles for men and women age 16 and older. Children and families are encouraged to audition.
Those auditioning should come prepared 16 bars of a song in the same style as the show. An accompanist will be provided. Additionally, resumes and headshots are encouraged. All conflicts need to be made known at time of audition. Rehearsals run the end of April throughout June. Julie Waite is directing and music directing and Mike Hernandez is choreographing the production with Kate Rufener and Amy Allred as producers.

The story is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington, D.C., during a time when the New York Yankees dominated Major League Baseball
