Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Directed by Natasha Tolleson December 8 and 9 at 7:00pm Tennessee Williams’ twentieth century masterpiece.

On a steamy night in Mississippi, a Southern family gathers at their cotton plantation to celebrate Big Daddy’s birthday. The scorching heat is almost as oppressive as the lies they tell. Brick and Maggie dance round the secrets and sexual tensions that threaten to destroy their marriage. With the future of the family at stake, which version of the truth is real—and which will win out?

Available roles include: Margaret, aka Maggie the cat (female, 20’s-30’s) – vivacious, vain, sexy, attractive, relentless Brick (male, 20’s-30’s) good-looking, former All-American, now a repressed alcoholic Big Daddy (male, 60’s) authoritarian, brash, and vulgar Big Mama (female, 60’s) domineering, crude, yet emotional and sincere Gooper, aka Brother Man (male, 30’s-40’s) bitter, paranoid, greedy Mae, aka Sister Woman (female, 30’s) Gooper’s wife, whiney, greedy, manipulative Rev. Tooker (male, 30-70) tactless, opportunistic, hypocritical Doctor Baugh (male, 30-70) discreet, timid Lacey (male 30-60) – Handyman Sookey (female 30-60) - Maid 3-4 children (girls and boys, 6-12) – wild, mischievous spoiled brats. One will have some solo lines; all others will speak/sing in a group.

Performance dates are January 31 – February 9, 2020.
