CCftA Announces Auditions for ‘CABARET' by Kander and Ebb

Cotuit Center for the Arts will hold open auditions for the Tony Award-winning musical, 'Cabaret', book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb at their secondary rehearsal space located at 6 Joy Street in Mashpee on Saturday, May 19 from Noon - 3:00 p.m. and on Monday, May 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Director Kiley Donovan and Music Director, Glenn Starner-Tate seek male and female actors ages 19 and up for this classic musical set in 1931 Berlin during the dawn of the Nazi regime’s rise to power, 'Cabaret' is set in the seedy and decadent Kit Kat Klub where patrons and performers gather nightly to escape the growing turmoil that grips the country.

Actors will be asked to sing, dance and read from the script. Detailed audition protocols and directions to audition location may be found at
